Programmer I (Part-Time)
Brief Summary:
In general, you will work with development team on commercial software development and coding, and perform work ranging from prototyping to every stage of producing full-fledged product quality implementations. In addition, you will also perform any other duties as directed by your manager.
Responsibilities include:
• Team Support - Support team with designing, developing, and implementing new content for current and new projects as directed by Lead. Assist with redesigning old content to improve performance. Provide progress updates during development cycle. Perform User Acceptance Testing.
• OPs Support - Performing manual processes for Operations. Running reports for Operations. Troubleshoot issues for Operations. Ensuring Operations has full support at any time on an on-call basis
• Application Development & Lifecycle Maintenance - Assist team with designing, developing and implementing code for current and future projects. Creating new reports for current and future projects. Adding/changing content in projects based on need.
• Database Administration - Assist with designing, developing and implementing changes dealing with SQL databases. Performance tuning of SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Views. Create useful procedures used for tracking the flow and amount of data in the database.
• Documentation - Creating documentation formats for projects with clean designs promoting readability and usability. Documenting processes used in current and future portals. Documenting solutions for problems associated with current and future projects. Documenting reports for Operations in current and future portals.
• Version Control - Creating and maintaining pages for Version control purposes. Documenting version changes on current and future portals. Customer Support - Providing support on as needed basis. Running reports for Accounting. Assisting with developing solutions to issues.
• IS Representative - Acting as an intermediary for other divisions. Collecting information from other divisions for team members.
• ERP Support -- Experience with Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or equivalent.
COMPENSATION
Compensation is commensurate with experience and job responsibilities and is comprised of an annual salary plus benefits. (Hourly Rate: $19.23) 
Work Schedule: 20-25 hours per week.
EXPERIENCE
Required Educational Background
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
POSITION SCOPE
Physical and Environmental Conditions:
• Frequent computer use at workstation up to two hours at a time.
• Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines or to access the computer to perform program tests.
